As you travel around Louisiana's highways and byways you on occasion come across historic markers. These are Louisiana's way of passing along a little of its history to those traveling. As we come across them I'll snap a picture and post them. Most markers will be self-expanitory so I'll just post and let them tell their own story. Some of the markers are two sided and some of the markers, especially is the southern part of the state, will have english on one side and french on the other. I'll post both when thats the case.
